Do you issue 8130-3 tags?
DPI can provide 8130-3 tags for products covered under PMA and supplied to Part 91 aircraft. Purchase orders that require tags must be coordinated in advance for FAA signoff. Additional charges may apply.

Do you operate a repair station?
We’re authorized by the FAA to overhaul any product under PMA status. In addition, we may repair components for any customer who operates a repair station. Under local FAA provisions, we’re not required to operate a certified repair station.

Can DPI repair my equipment?
Owner/Operators: If your equipment is covered by PMA and you meet certain certification procedures, we can deal directly with you to make repairs.

Completion Centers: DPI can work on your behalf, as long as your facility has a repair station. You'll be responsible for the removal and installation of the product.

OEMs: We may repair equipment on behalf of OEMs.

Do you offer plating services?
Plating is handled by third-party suppliers. Typically, plating is performed on a designated customer Purchase Order, which captures all the transactions. DPI also offers plating handling services in which we can provide a full turnkey service. If such services are required, a handling fee is added to the PO and will be quoted according to the project requirements.
